Salim Zagar joined 5D Concept of Solar City Africa as Chairman in 2016. He is also Director of Jua-Masaki Solar Company Ltd. and CEO of Zagar-Endow Ltd. He has had a career as finance and smart cities sectoral digital economy. Smart city entrepreneur and ex-banker. Chairman of Moladi Tanzania Limited – a construction company.

He was Director of Marketing of Green Land Bank Ltd. specialised in financing projects and development.

He is a graduate of London College of Communication. Has Diploma of Swedish Standards Institute Stockholm (SIS). MBA – Leadership Sustainability, Cumbria University in the UK.

He holds World Bank’s Certificate in “Competitive Cities for Jobs and Growth” (Kampala, Uganda).

Salim believes in opportunity for building strong economies in Africa and that Solar City Africa can play a major role in innovation and developing the Continent.

Salim is the author of several publications including “Graphic Publishing and Visual Communication” published by EALB, Nairobi, Kenya.
